WatchMeCode episodes take a lot of time and effort to build. Please support my efforts by not distributing copies to your friends or coworkers (within reason). You are not allowed to redistribute or sell any materials found on the WatchMeCode site, without permission.
A Personal Note From Derick
When you know you have a solution for a friend or a coworker, and you want to share that solution them, that's awesome! Having you show an episode of my screencasts to someone so that they can solve their problem is just about the highest compliment I could ask for! But there's a big gray area between helping a friend or coworker to get them through a problem, and giving away copies of my hard work so other people don't have to pay for it.
Do your best to stay out of the gray area. Share when it helps, but don't give people copies of my material on a regular basis (or semi-regular or even somewhat infrequent / occasional). It takes food out of my kids' mouths (yes, I went there – WatchMeCode is a significant portion of my monthly income).
The fastest way to make me shut down everything I'm doing is to redistribute my work without permission. I don't mind sharing answers with friends and coworkers, as long as you don't abuse my trust.
Sharing is caring, but piracy is pathetic.
