With a basic Express.js app in place, it's time to look at what it takes to edit code in a Docker container.
The goal is to be able to follow your standard development practices (whatever those may be for you and your team); to use your favorite editor; to edit files on your local system and to have those changes be immediately reflected in the container.
And while this may seem a lofty goal, with the work we've already done, it becomes trivial.
Take advantage of mounted volumes and make editing code in a Docker container easy.
But be aware that this is not the final step in building a development process for Node.js in Docker. There's more to take care of, as you'll see in this episode.
