To run browserify code, though, the browser is given a single file with all of your code in it. This is great for production environments, but can be a nightmare in development. You need to be able to see all of the individual files in your browser's debugger, if you're going to make sense out of the debugger info that you're looking at and stepping through.
Fortunately, Browserify comes with an option to make debugging simple. Taking advantage of source maps, browserify will allow your browser's debugger to think that it is working with individual files even when everything has been delivered as a single, concatenated file.
